Rule of Use of the Library of HS Georgia

Article 1. General Provisions
1.1. The library is the main educational unit of HS Georgia library.
1.2. The Library of HS Georgia prescribes a library mission, a strategic development plan for the libraries, as well as the rule of use of the library and the rule of computer class use (Appendix 1).
1.2. The library in its field of business is guided by the Georgian legislation, Georgia’s Legal Acts and the present Statute.
1.3. The library is accountable to the Rector and Vice Rector.

Article 2. The Bureaucracy Mission of HS Georgia

2.1. The Library of HS Georgia is a library is the creation of resources, service and convenience of modern standards for teaching, learning and research needs.
2.2. For effective implementation of the library:
– Continently cares about filling and updating the foundation on printed and electronic carriers;
– Provides access to library resources and services for readers;
– Provides readers information access to international electronic library bases;
– Cooperate with readers to provide their individual needs in the learning and research process;
– In case of need, the relevant consultation is provided to readers
– The library fund and property protection
2.3. Values ​​are for development, responsibility, good faith, effective communication, cooperation and mutual respect.

Article 3. The main objectives of the Library of HS Georgia

3.1. The main purpose of the Library of HS Georgia is to raise awareness / promotion of education, science and culture in Georgia, to assist students in forming worthy members of civil society.
3.2. To ensure the mission and goals of the HS Georgia, the library is in an effective coordination with HS Georgia’s relevant structural unit.
3.3. The library, personal and group work spaces are allocated for the complete service of the library.

Article 4. Main functions

4.1. HS Georgia Library main functions:
a. Organization of library funds, systematic filling with Georgian and foreign editions, protecting them and ensuring access to readers;
B. Creating databases
C. Promote the introduction of innovative processes in the library;
D. Coordinate the library activities in accordance with the legislation;
E. Caring for the qualification of library personnel;

Article 5. Structure and Management of the Library

5.1. The library is headed by the head of the Library, who is appointed and dismissed by the Rector of Georgia.
5.2. The head of the library helps the library assistant assistant, who is appointed and dismissed by the Rector of Georgia.
5.3. In the library, a reading hall is allocated for the service of the customer.
5.4. Functions of the

5.5. The functions of the supervisor of the library head
A. Provides readers service with library funds, electronic catalogs and other types of information.
E. Provide guidance and consultation for student and personnel to provide information on library resources and services;
F. Provides access to international electronic library bases;
G. Receives books, provides them with processing according to the library rules;
H Provide bookkeeping in the library’s inventory book and electronic catalog;
Found. Provides the processing and recording of the periodic periods prescribed by HS Georgia;
K. Provide adequate order protection in the Reading Room of HS Georgia.
Article 6. Library Resource
6.1. The library contains a book and a nonstandard fund – audio, video and digital versions of information.
6.2. The library has readable reading equipped halls.
6.3. The resource in the library (book and non-funding foundation) corresponds to the aims of HS Georgia – Educational Programs implemented by HS Georgia.
6.4. The scientific e-mail database is available for the library user.
6.5. The library has a computer resource.
Article 7. Final Provisions
7.1. This provision comes into force immediately after approval by the Senate of HS Georgia and has no retroactive force;
7.2. Any amendment to the provision shall be in compliance with the applicable Georgian legislation and shall be approved by the US Senate for amendment or amendment.

Rule of Use of the Library

Article 1. General provisions

1.1. The rule of using the library of Higher School Georgia (hereinafter – HS Georgia) is regulating procedures for using library library, interconnecting library with readers, organizational and legal basics of readers’ service, terms of access to library documents and library Rules of conduct;
1.2. Students of HS Georgia, HS Georgia’s staff, academic personnel, invited persons, administrators, and other guests are allowed to use the library of the University of Georgia.

Article 2. Graphic work schedule

2.1. The library is located in the area owned by HS Georgia and runs from Monday to Saturday, 6 days, 60 hours per week;
2.2. The working hours of the library – Monday – Saturday: from 9:00 am to 19:00;

Article 3. Joining the Library

3.1. You can use the Library of HS Georgia after joining.
3.2. Students of the HS Georgia have joined the library in contact data and identity documents in the electronic database of information provided;
3.3. Other HS Georgian guests, academic and invited staff members of the HS Georgia staff are registered on the basis of identity documents and contact data (actual address, telephone, e-mail);
3.4. Subscriber is obliged to notify the library in case of change of the name, surname and contact information;
3.5. For access to the library, readers are obliged to get familiar with the rules of using the library;

Article 4. Rights, duties and responsibilities of readers

4.1. The reader has the right to use for free of charge any kind of library document protected in the library;
4.2. To extend the use of the book and other documents in accordance with the established procedure;
4.3. Can get full bibliographic information and advice from the librarian;
4.4. Conduct search using library resources (electronic catalogs, electronic resources);
4.5. Use computers and internet networks;
4.6. Copy the copies of the materials in the library.
4.7. The reader is obliged to:
a. Follow the rules of using the library;
B. Take care of the library document issued on it, do not make notes in it, do not remove paper and so on;
C. Receive the issued library documents within the established timeframes;
D. Do not remove the library document from the library which is not recorded in the reader’s formula or is not subject to home delivery;
E. In case of receipt of the book and other material, examine his physical condition and inform the librarian at the discovery of defects;
F. In case of loss of a library document, the damage inflicted to the library in accordance with the established rule;
G. At the end of each academic year, the library documents to be returned to the Library;
H Work with the readers and librarians while working in the library hall to maintain calm and ethical norms of communication;
Found. For the use of the printer, xerox, computers, the reader addresses the library staff to get the relevant material (the material used in the study process). If the reader does not own the printer, copier and computer skills, the librarian is obliged to provide assistance.
K. Using computers is allowed: input and editing texts, searching and downloading of Internet materials, working on literature with electronic versions (CD discs are permitted by the library); Use of e-mail; Usu Georgia’s Internet access; Work on training programs, etc. The reader can use the electronic material in the foundation (copying the copy of this material).

Article 5. The obligation of the library

5.1. The library is obliged to:
a. Provide readers with information on the use of library and information-bibliographic service forms and methods, as well as the use of international electronic library resources;
B. Complete service forms to achieve high quality of service, make use of computer technologies expeditiously;
C. To help readers use the Library Reference apparatus;
D. Conduct events, promote library resources;
E. Implement system control over funds, use penalties to penalize the readers who are causing damage to the library.

Article 6. Terms and Conditions for Use of the Hall

6.1. Issuing and returning books:
A. The library contains electronic catalog, which is located on the web site of the website. After finding the necessary book in the catalogs, the user fills the request card on which the book is issued;
B. Books that have a copy of the library shall be issued only for the use of the Reading Hall or to receive copies;
C. There are also periodicals (magazines, newspapers), reference books (encyclopedias, dictionaries), digital units (DVD, CD) for use in the reading room only;
D. In the library of reading in the library, the free access to the book is free; it is not permitted to issue more than one copy of the same name on one user;
E. The number of literature issued should not exceed 5 copies;
F. Number of literature is not restricted for use in the reading room;
G. Scientific and educational literature intended for student use in the current semester will be issued only 24 hours;
H The term of issuing scientific and fiction literature is 10 days. The term of the book is extended only once in 10 days;
Found. Prolongation period for the professors-teachers is extended twice – the maximum term is 20 days;
K. Upon the expiration of the material or the return of the book (10 days). The reader is obliged to return the book to the library or to resume the period of time again;
L. In case the reader has set the deadline for the return of the book, the reader will not be granted the book;
M. Booking and other materials can be booked;
N. In case of loss of book, the reader can present the same denominator or in exchange for other libraries of the library. Otherwise it is obliged to pay the cost;
Oh. In case of contact with any kind of contact with GE Georgia, the reader is obliged to return all the materials given to him.Otherwise, it will apply to the events covered by the Regulations for Loss of Book.

Article 7. Rule of use of computer class

7.1. Computer class is comprised of modern computer technologies, internet, there is a suitable environment for perfect computer service.
7.2. The computer class is headed by the specialist of the Registry Production and Information Technology (in the field of Information Technology).
3. Computer class works:
• Monday – Saturday – 9: 00-19: 00
4. Computer access is allowed:
a) Entering and editing text;
B) searching and downloading the Internet;
C) work on literature with electronic versions;
D) use of e-mail;
E) Work on training programs.

Article 8. Final provisions

8.1. This regulation is approved by the Rector of Georgia.
8.2. The amendment and / or amendment to the present Rule shall be made by the Order of the Rector of Georgia.
